Help & FAQ

How can we help?

How does the 30-Day Game work?

Each day, let go of as many things as the date — one thing on day one, two on day two. By day 30, 465 things have left your home. The app tracks your streak and what you’ve let go.

What counts as “letting go”?

Donate it, sell it, recycle it, or return it to someone who’ll use it. Trashing is a last resort — the point is the thing leaves your home.

I missed a day. Did I lose my progress?

No. The game is forgiving — pick up where you left off, or catch up by letting go of the missed count when you’re ready.

How does the wait timer work?

Tempted to buy something? Add it with its price and the app holds it — 30 hours for small wants, 30 days for bigger ones. When the wait ends, the app asks if you still want it — most of the time, you won’t.

Can I play the 30-Day Game with a friend?

Yes — invite them from the game screen with a standard iOS share link. Everyone in the game sees a live standing of names and daily counts; your item log, timers, and savings stay private to you.

Where is my data stored?

On your device — and, if you have iCloud enabled, in your own private iCloud so it can follow you to a new phone. It never reaches us. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Can I move my data to a new phone?

Yes — with iCloud enabled, your data follows you to the new phone automatically. A standard iOS backup or device migration works too.

How much does the app cost?

Pricing will be announced when Letting Go launches on the App Store. There’s no subscription planned.
